Zoe Scanson- Advanced Stylist (On Maternity Leave until June 3rd, her schedule is now available to book!)

Zoe graduated beauty school in 2014 and dove head first into Stan's intensive apprenticeship program. She spent that year perfecting her skills in blonding, customized cutting techniques, formulation and toning. Her clientele quickly grew as did her passion for being behind the chair. Zoe loves learning new techniques and truly believes a great hairstylist is never done learning. She has attended multiple advanced training courses at the Wella World Studio in NYC, as well as countless in-salon trainings from top artist and educators across the country. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout, as well as tape-in and hand tied extensions through Hairtalk and Bellami. When she isn't behind the chair you will find Zoe enjoying time with her husband, son and two dogs. She loves to camp and be out in nature as well as travel and explore the world. Zoe is an adventurer who is always open to meet new people and try new things!

Alaina graduated from Evergreen Beauty College in 2015 and soon after started our year long apprenticeship program in 2016. On top of our in salon education Alaina is also certified in Ashlee Norman Balayage & from the NYC studio she has a Wella Balayage certification. She specializes in blonding, balayage, and lived in color. When you sit in her hair you will feel the care she has for you, as well as your hair! Outside of the salon you can find her snowboarding, paddle boarding, camping, and traveling with her friends and family!

Kristy Hall- Master Stylist (accepting new clients)

Kristy has been a member of the Maple Valley community for the last 30 years. She graduated from cosmetology school in 2008 and has been with the SPS team since 2009. Kristy has extensive education and is constantly working on her own personal growth as well as the growth of others through our mentorship and apprentice program. she is certified in Brazillian Blowout, Bellami Extensions, Hairtalk Extensions, she has a Master Color Certification from the Wella Studio, and has attended many Bumble & Bumble cutting and styling classes as well as quarterly in salon education from top educators from many brands. Kristy is passionate about education on all levels, she loves sharing her knowledge with fellow stylists and her clients. She specializes in Hand-Tied Extensions, Tape-In Extensions, Custom Coloring Transformations, and Haircutting. Outside of the salon you will find Kristy hanging out with her 3 sons and husband!

Briana graduated from beauty school in 2007 in Maine, she moved to Washington in 2015 and joined the SPS Team that same year. Briana has attended classes locally and in other states. She has attended Bumble & Bumble and Wella classes in NYC, Oribe Events, as well as classes in Portland, Maine. Briana specializes in all haircutting with special notes of bobs & curly hair. Outside of the salon, you will find her hanging out with her family and her dogs.

Brie graduated from Gene Juarez Academy in 2013 and has been with the SPS Team from the beginning of her career. She went through our intensive year-long apprenticeship program where she was trained in all coloring services, Brazillian Blowouts, and extensions. She specializes in working with curly hair and men’s hair. Outside of the salon, you will find her fishing, walking on the beach, or enjoying a good whiskey.

Alex White- Associate Stylist (accepting new clients)

Alex graduated from beauty school in 2018 and right away started at Stan’s in the apprenticeship program. The program allowed Alex to learn and grow in all areas of hair including, balayaging, highlighting, and cutting. She also learned skills of how to consult with clients, bond with clients, make clients feel comfortable and confident in her chair, and product knowledge. Alex has taken numerous classes that Stan has provided, and is always excited to learn more about the art. She is also enjoying getting into extensions and is certified in Perfectress extensions. When Alex isn’t behind the hair she enjoys spending time with her family and close friends camping, traveling, playing games, and being outside. Alex loves meeting new people, and getting to know them!

Brianne graduated from beauty school in 2005 in New York and in 2013 moved to Washington to be closer to family and quickly fell in love with the PNW. She joined the SPS Team in 2013 but she started working in a salon at 16 and she knew that making people feel their best was her passion. She has attended many classes in salon well classes, Brazilian Blowout certified, Perfectress Extension certified, and has attended Bumble & Bumble classes in NYC. Brianne specializes in blonding, root maintenances, bobs and long layered haircuts. Outside of the salon you will find her camping and hanging out with her two sons and husband.

Janelle graduated beauty school in 2015 and didn’t waste any time finding her salon home at Stan Parente Salon. She jumped right into our year long apprenticeship program and has spent her career perfecting all color and cutting techniques, as well as extensions. She has a passion for helping clients achieve their desired look and making them feel like their best selves. When she’s not behind the chair, she loves hanging out with her dog, bening outdoors, and is always looking for some kind of new home project to do!

Erin Stiner- Master Stylist (accepting new clients)

Erin graduated from Clover Park’s beauty college in 1998 and started working with Stan in 1999. She has been one with us since almost the beginning, starting at our Federal Way location and then moving to the Maple Valley location when we opened in 2005. She is one of the most experienced stylists with us and has numerous education ventures under her belt here in Washington as well as 3 other countries. She specializes in short women’s haircuts, men’s haircuts, and foiling. She lives in Tacoma with her dog, Frankie, who is her entire world and they love to go to the beach together! He makes guest appearances at the salon and loves the extra loves he receives from us and the clients. Outside of the salon you will find her traveling and enjoying other cultures as well as hanging out with her family, friends, and Frankie!

Vicki graduated from beauty school in late 2020 despite the ongoing pandemic. After a few months of shadowing at many salon locations, she found herself at Stan Parente Salon as an apprentice and soon after started taking clients. Her clientele is very diverse as she works with different styles such as balayages, color blocking, fashion colors, and alternative haircuts. Vicki loves to learn new hair trends and bring them to life! When she isn't at the salon, Vicki spends her time at the gym, going outdoors, adventuring new food spots, and spending time with her friends and family.

Stan and his wife Lisa opened their first salon in 1985, and now own and operate three salon locations across the Puget Sound area. Over the years Stan has established the salons’ reputation for excellence by fostering a positive and enjoyable culture, prioritizing continued education, and using the best products available. Stan is passionate about continuing education for stylists and creating a positive working environment for his employees. Larissa graduated from beauty school originally in 2001, and then again in 2022 after finding her passion again. She started working with us in 2021 as an apprentice and since then has flourished and has easily grown her business due to her natural talent. She is certified in all Bellami Extension Methods & Perfectress Link Weft Extensions as well as certified in Brazilian Blowouts. She is always continuing her education through our in-salon classes through Wella Color, Oribe, and Davines. She specializes in Extensions, blonding, and lived in colors. She loves all aspects of hair, she loves transforming someone to look their best on the outside while also helping them feel beautiful and confident on the inside! Sarah graduated from beauty school in 2019. She started furthering her education and career in the salon environment. After a year she found her salon home, Stan Parente Salons, she gained lots of knowledge and skills through Stan's apprentice program. Through that year Sarah perfected her skills in blonding, custom colors, and women's haircuts. Sarah also offers different hair extension systems to best fit her clients and their needs and is Brazilian Blowout certified as well. Sarah has now been a working stylist but is constantly continuing her education to become better every day to give her clients beautiful, healthy-looking hair that they love! When she is not in the salon you will find her barrel racing or playing with her dogs!

Gabrae Parente-Campbell- Salon Manager/Apprentice

Gabrae started her journey at the salon at a very young age sweeping, cleaning and handing her dad foils while he worked. She started doing the desk in 2011 and has stuck around every since. She started managing and fell in love with seeing clients leave feeling beautiful and refreshed. While doing hair never seemed to be her path, she decided in 2022 that she wanted to take her career to the next level and get her cosmetology license. Through the Attarashi program and the state she is able to apprentice at our salon while getting on the job training and hours. She is so excited to be able to dive in and start building her clientele! When she is not in the salon, she is hanging out with her 2 daughters (2 & 4) and her husband!

Chelsea McLemore- Senior Stylist (not accepting new clients)

Chelsea graduated beauty school in 2008, she has called Stan Parente Salon home for the last 12 years. After going through the salons extensive apprenticeship program she dove into the chemical side of hairstyling. She has traveled to New York for continuing education and truly believes a hairstylist in never done learning as style is continually changing and evolving. After 6 years of being a colorist she decided it was time to expand and dive into the the cutting side of hairstyling as well and she hasn't turned back. When Chelsea isn't behind the chair she enjoys being with her husband and two kids. She loves all things interior design and DIY projects, and anytime the sun is warm & she can get on the water to surf she will!

Alina Ostate- Junior Stylist (accepting new clients)

Alina started the SPS apprentice program in 2022 and graduated from beauty school February of 2023. Alina is a Romanian native who has been living in the Seattle area for the past few years. Alina’s interest in the beauty industry started at a very young age, and she is passionate about creating beautiful hair for her clients. When she is not at the salon she is traveling, hiking, working out, cooking with her husband and friends. Alina is excited to build her clientele at Stan Parente Salon!

Alexia started Stan’s apprenticeship program in January 2023 and graduated from beauty school in May of 2023. Alexia is a vivacious, full-of-life hairstylist who infuses every clients interaction with sense of joy and positivity. Alecia not only brings a wealth of technical expertise to her work but also a deep passion for helping people rediscover themselves. Alexia is not just about creating stunning hairstyles; she’s about creating experiences. She believes that every visit to the salon should be rejuvenating and uplifting. Her natural charm, coupled with her down-to-earth personality, puts her clients at ease as she work her magic on their hair. Elyze brings 15 years of experience to the industry with the first 3 years of her career assisting directly under Stan Parente. She offers a variety of cuts, colors, blonding and really enjoys working with curly hair. Elyze brings a warm and welcoming vibe to each appointment and works to build relationships with every single client that sits in her chair. Danielle Eng-Chu- Advanced Stylist (accepting new clients)

Danielle, a second- generation hairstylist, began honing her artistic skill in early childhood. She immersed herself in a variety of art and design classes covering color theory, painting, and sculpting, laying the foundation for her present-day skill set. Originally used in our Bellevue salon, Danielle has garnered glowing reviews for her detail-oriented, individualistic healthy-hair approach, and her knack for connecting through conversation. Clients love how she tailors each color and cut, enhancing their natural beauty. Committed to growth, she continually refines her craft through hair classes, embracing new techniques to elevate her artists.
