Larry started his career in Austin TX in 1977. His biggest influence to enter the hair business was his family, his family had 4 salons in the city. He worked in Texas for 11 years and then moved to the northwest and started working with Stan Parente in 1990. He now has built an amazing career at the salon, and one of his daughters even works at the Maple Valley SPS as a senior stylist!

Oana Portutiu- Senior Stylist (accepting new clients)

Originally from Europe, Oana's interest began at the age of 12 while watching her mother, a hairdresser and artist, create beautiful looks for their family members right in their kitchen. Oana started her journey at the Gene Juarez Academy in Seattle in 2007, and continued with an advanced training program for the following year at the Aveda salon in Kirkland. Since then she has been attending different classes to stay current with fashion trends and styles. Oana enjoys a healthy work-life balance as a part-time stylist at our salon since 2011. Here, she loves cultivating a positive, honest, and relaxed relationship with her clients, where they can work together to create a unique look to build their confidence and develop their personal style.

Sara Crane- Junior Stylist (accepting new clients)

Sara found her passion for hairstyling while working in the fashion industry in Japan. She graduated beauty school in 2003, was on the Artistic Team at 7 Salon in Seattle and Bellevue, then found her way to Stan’s Maple Valley location, just after it opened in 2006. She has always had a love for travel and seeing new places, which took her to living in San Francisco for 10 years, doing hair in the Mission and Castro neighborhoods, giving her the ability to expand and explore her creative hairdressing skills. She has attended several haircutting classes at Bumble and Bumble and Tony and Guy in New York, Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles and Kevin Murphy in Portland. She continues her color education with Wella and Goldwell and is certified in Brazilian Blowouts. Sara’s constant curiosity to learn and expand her knowledge in the hair industry, has led her to becoming Stan’s Men’s Hair Piece Stylist in Bellevue. Sara focuses on detailed haircuts, easy styling, beautiful colors; all to bring out the beauty within each client. Women’s Haircut- $80

Courtney Ahearn- Advanced Stylist (accepting new clients)

Courtney has been a stylist at SPS for 4 years. She joined the apprenticeship program through the salon, upon obtaining her license. After working on her craft extensively with Stan Parente, she now specializes in blondes, “lived in color” and extensions. Courtney is very passionate about her work. She can’t wait to create a stunning look for her clients, that makes them feel confident and beautiful.

Polly Yingcharoeny- Senior Stylist

Polly has been doing hair since 2014. She is originally from Thailand. She moved to Seattle in 2005. She specializes in cutting, coloring, and balayage. Her attention to detail and kindness will give you a one of kind experience. She has attended cutting courses at the Vidal Sassoon and been trained by Wella top colorists. Her passion for the beauty industry started as a young girl, and she strongly believes that feeling beautiful is important at any age of life. On her time off, she likes to travel and trying out new restaurants.

Homeria Najafi- Master Stylist

Homeira received my cosmetology degree 16 years ago and has been working with hair ever since. She has spent the last 14 years working for Stan Parente, and during this time she has found how her work can completely change not just how people look, but also how they feel about themselves. Therefore, she is constantly working on improving her skills, learning new techniques, experimenting and keeping herself up to date with all current trends. She works with all hair types, and takes pride in helping her clients find their own unique style.

Danielle Eng-Chu- Advanced Stylist (accepting new clients)

Danielle, a second- generation hairstylist, began honing her artistic skill in early childhood. She immersed herself in a variety of art and design classes covering color theory, painting, and sculpting, laying the foundation for her present-day skill set. Originally used in our Bellevue salon, Danielle has garnered glowing reviews for her detail-oriented, individualistic healthy-hair approach, and her knack for connecting through conversation. Clients love how she tailors each color and cut, enhancing their natural beauty. Committed to growth, she continually refines her craft through hair classes, embracing new techniques to elevate her artists. Beyond the salon, Danielle thrives on time with loved ones, global travel adventures, exploring diverse cuisines and cultures, and nurturing wellness. Alexa Curry- Junior Stylist

Alexa joined our team at SPS in July 2023. She dove right into her training with Stan Parente to expand her knowledge and perfect her skills. She loves to create lived in colors and the perfect haircuts for every client’s needs. Alexa looks forward to creating a beautiful look for each client to make them feel confident and stunning.

Lisa is a master colorist of nearly 3 decades, she started her career at Gene Juarez in 1995. She has worked in some of the top salons in Washington state and is now enjoying her career at Stan Parente Salon. She is extremely passionate about all things color!
