Michael Hall
Michael Hall has an extensive educational background starting from the Advanced International Academy in Vancouver BC, spanning to Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, and other schools in New York. Coupled with natural abilities, and his affinity for style and fashion, Michael is one of the recognized leaders in his field.
As the key hair designer and the creative director, he directs many large teams for numerous hair and fashion shows as well as producing his own high production fashion performances.
Michael is also a fashion and photo stylist creating one-of -a kind visual art pieces. His work has been seen in film, TV , published in high end, international hair/ fashion and art magazines as well as exhibited in major art galleries and other various media.
He's styled the hair and made hairpieces to go with signature dresses from Betsy Johnson, Donna Karan, Todd Oldham, Anna Sui, Carolina Herrera, Sonia Rykiel, Fernando Sanchez, Isabella Toledo, Diane Von Furstenberg, Gianni Versace - (the man himself), to name just a few.
Michael orchestrates photo shoots, beauty/fashion fairs, runway shows and conducts fashion photo workshops for stylist, photographers, models and make-up artists. He is the co-creator and co -author of the book, Wake -Up, Live The Life You Love In Beauty, featuring inspirational stories from some the top, iconic people in the beauty industry, endorsed by Mark Victor Hansen, co-creator of Chicken Soup For The Soul series. He also has other books and videos out on hairstyling and hairstyling tips.
He has two sons , one who is training and poised to become an Olympic hopeful in the sport of speed skating. In his spare time, Michael is traveling with his son to attend races and training clinics. Michael is himself an avid skater and enjoys any kind of physical activity. He loves movies and theatre performances and his other son is an independent film maker and photographer.
