In 1985 I was given the opportunity to buy a small salon on Pacific Highway, with the support of my new wife, Lisa, I decided to do it. Soon after, we had our first child, Tiffany, and immediately my priorities changed... I was now a father first and a stylist second! We had two more children, Aaron and then Gabriella (Gabrae). I continued to get busier and the salon outgrew its location, (3 times!) until we ended up at our current location in Federal Way where we have been for over 10 years now. The salon has been recognized locally several times by the community by being voted as "One of the Best Salons in Federal Way".
In 2006 a friend encouraged me to look into the possibility of opening another salon in Maple Valley. That friend (and long time client) Curtis Lang, did not give up on the idea until we said yes! Am I crazy?! The kids are getting older and we are just starting to get our feet under us at the Federal Way location...why? But, the passion was back and it was stronger than ever and I also realized it was a great opportunity. We could start the Maple Valley salon at a high level and push the Federal Way salon up with it. And it is working! Making education and customer service at the top of our priorities. Our stylists are trained to be creative and to design looks that suit our clients face shapes, coloring and personalities. We aren't pushy but we hope our clients would consider allowing us to keep them updated and fresh. Both salons have great stylists who are also great people and I am very proud of my staff and excited about what the future holds for us all.
I am sure you will be hearing about these great stylists from your friends and neighbors...people are talking!! Come see for yourself!
Finally, we ask that children brought into the Stan Parente Salons are well behaved. They must be kept with you and not unattended in the salon. Our goal is to make everyone's salon experience relaxing and enjoyable, and we ask that you please respect that.
