Amber Young - Advanced Stylist- MV
Amber's career started as a young girl doing her friends' hair as well as all her doll's. So it's safe to say her career choice was pretty much determined at that point :-)
Her formal training started at an academy in Spokane WA. After graduating, she went on to work at the top salon/spa in her area. After moving from from there to Hawaii, she became the lead stylist for a couple years at a major luxury resort in Maui. Upon returning to Washington State, she soon started working at Stan Parente Salon. Her aspirations for continued education have her attending many classes and workshops to learn the latest techniques and trends in haircutting, coloring and styling.
She loves meeting new people, making them happy and feeling good about themselves. She appreciates the ever changing fashions and styles of the industry while she looks forward to the changing experiences each day brings at the salon.
When she's not at the salon, Amber enjoys working out, being with her friends and family, watching movies and likes to travel.
Amber's favorite product is Hair Powder by Bumble and Bumble. She likes its multi uses. It can enhance volume, it's great for camouflaging grown out color at the scalp, and you can also use it as a dry shampoo, allowing you to go an extra day without having to wash your hair.
